SMS / Text Messaging Policy

1. About This Messaging Program

Strong Children Wellness Medical Group, PLLC offers a text messaging (SMS and MMS) program to communicate with patients and their families about healthcare services. This program is used for appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, referral coordination, referral status updates, follow-up care communications, and transportation coordination for eligible patients.

Messages are sent using an automated system on behalf of Strong Children Wellness.

2. Consent & Opt-In

By providing your mobile number through our Phreesia appointment booking form, our website, or directly to our staff, and by checking the consent box, you are opting in to receive text messages from Strong Children Wellness for the purposes described above.

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, nor is it a condition of receiving medical care from Strong Children Wellness.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your active referrals, scheduled appointments, and care needs. On average, patients receive between 2 and 15 messages per month. During active referral coordination, message frequency may be higher.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Strong Children Wellness does not charge for texts sent through this program. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP (or QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. Opting out will not affect your ability to receive medical care.

7. Supported Carriers

Our messaging program is supported on all major US mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile (including Sprint and Metro by T-Mobile), Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, and most regional and prepaid carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We do not sell, rent, lease, loan, trade, or otherwise share your phone number, opt-in status, or messaging data with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
