Dr. Suzette Brown is a general pediatrician and health services researcher renowned for her expertise in mental health and primary care integration, community-based partnerships, and health-related social needs. As an attending pediatrician at Maimonides Medical Center, she spearheaded the first federally funded integrated behavioral health program in Pediatrics and championed community partnerships that provided care management for medically and psychosocially complex children and adolescents.
Dr. Brown completed her B.A. in Community Health at Brown University, and received her MD from Brown University's Warren Alpert School of Medicine and MPH from Yale. She completed her pediatric residency at Duke, and fellowship training in pediatric health services research at Harvard. She was recently awarded The David Prize for her innovative work to bring Strong Children Wellness to NYC communities.
