Dr. Omolara Uwemedimo is a pediatrician whose 20-year career spans the US and regions in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. As a former faculty member at Columbia University Medical Center and Cohen Children’s Medical Center, she's renowned for her work in community-engaged pediatrics, social determinants of health, and care for global and immigrant populations. She received her MD from New York University School of Medicine and an MPH from Columbia University, and completed her residency in the prestigious Boston Combined Residency Program at Children’s Hospital Boston and Boston Medical Center.
